Warranty
Products are subject to the following limited warranty
in the USA:
This product has been carefully manufactured to the highest standards of
precision, has passed many quality assurance checks, and has been thoroughly
tested by the manufacturer before shipment.
Before using this equipment the photographer should thoroughly study the
instruction manual supplied with it, and is also urged to expose and analyze a
test roll of film, in order to become more familiar with all the features.
The purchaser should at all times determine the suitability of the equipment
for the intended application and assumes all risks and liability in connection
therewith.
Should this equipment require service, Mamiya America Corporation (MAC) will
repair or replace, at its option, any part or any product which MAC’s
examination shows to be defective in material or workmanship.
Such service will be rendered at no charge under this warranty for the period
of one year from date of purchase to the original purchaser (2-year warranty for Mamiya 645AFD III).
Equipment must be returned, by you or your dealer, to the below address,
attention of the Service Department, carefully packed (preferably in the
original cartons) and sent prepaid and insured.
The following must be included:
- Copies of dated proof of original purchase (sales slip) - All
accessory items involved (i.e. lenses, batteries, etc.) - Packing list (A
complete list of the items being returned) - The full address and phone
number to which the equipment is to be returned (no P.O. box) - Sample
negatives or prints - A note describing the problem
This warranty
shall not apply if it is shown by MAC that the defect or malfunction was caused
by operation of the product contrary to the instructions contained in the owners
manual, or any misuse or abuse of the product (including battery leakage), or
modification or servicing performed by others. The Owner, by completing and
returning this registration card, agrees and consents that any action or
proceeding that the owner may bring against MAC relative to the purchase, or
performance of any of the products marketed by MAC may only be brought in the
Supreme Court of the State of New York, County of Westchester and in no other
forum or jurisdiction. This agreement and consent to jurisdiction shall extend
beyond the warranty period and shall apply to any action brought by the owner
against MAC and shall apply to any products marketed by MAC.
The foregoing warranties are exclusive and are in lieu of all other
warranties, whether written, oral or implied. There is no warranty of
merchantability in any respect other than expressly set forth above and no
warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. MAC shall in no event be liable
for losses, direct or consequential damages, or inconvenience caused by the
failure or malfunction of this equipment.
